CLINICAL SUPERVISION

For my practice, I use an amalgam of the Discrimnation model, CBT, ACT and Self-Compassion to help you assess your areas for improvement and achieve your goals. I oscillate between the roles of teacher, consultant and mentor to help you take your practice to the next level.

What makes me unique as a Supervisor?

I'm most concerned about your well-being first. I'm passionate about supporting your professional self-care including, caseload management, time management, and whatever else you may need. I am intentional about providing you with direct and concrete skills that are easy to understand and implement with your clients. I also believe in the power of audio recording sessions to help you reflect on your skills and improve the quality of your work more quickly than with self-reports and self-reflection alone.

I offer individual supervision for students, Qualifying and experienced Psychotherapists and Counselling Therapists, Social Workers and Certified Canadian Counsellors across Canada.

Working with Lindsey for the past 2 years has been extremely valuable to me as a psychotherapist. She has always been kind and friendly throughout our supervisor/supervisee relationship and makes for a comfortable environment to share experiences and ask for assistance. One of the most impactful things she has done for me is sharing resources that I get to use with my clients; I use them all the time. Lindsey also has the ability to instill confidence by expressing what she believes I am doing well. I like that she takes the time to ask me about myself and how I have been within and outside of the profession.
