INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY
Guiding you to be the change.

Having personally navigated challenges like anxiety, depression, disordered eating, perfectionism, and burnout, I understand how daunting it can feel to take that first step toward seeking support. I also know the profound, transformative impact therapy can have when you're ready to actively engage in creating meaningful change. With nearly a decade of experience, I specialize in working with individual adults, guiding them through their unique journeys toward healing and growth.

Disordered
Eating
You struggle with an unhealthy relationship with food. You use restrictions and rules as a means to have greater control over what you put into your body.

Body Image
You find yourself comparing your body to others, wishing it would look different, and you base your self-worth on your weight and shape. You may have difficulty enjoying sex for this reason.

Lifestyle Balance
You struggle to balance the different priorities and responsibilities in life. Whether this is work, child care, elder care, fur parenting or making time for your hobbies and doing less.

Maintaining
Boundaries
You have a hard time saying no to others even when it's at the detriment of your own well-being. You struggle with assertive communication and your needs often go unmet.

Anxiety
Disorders
Some form of anxiety is impacting your functioning: general, social, panic attacks, phobias, OCD, PTSD. It causes you distress and leads to unhelpful behaviours like avoidance and excessive researching.

Intimacy &
Desire
You struggle to be intimate with your partner(s) or for solo play. Your level of desire is low or different from what your partner(s) want. You have a hard time expressing your sexual needs so you opt out of sex or fake the Os.
I recognize my privilege in identifying as a Caucasian cis-female. One of my primary personal and professional development goals has been to recognize and challenge my own biases to become a better person and better support my clients. Through this work I continue to increase my knowledge and understanding of working with diverse lived experiences including:
-
all gender expressions
-
all sexual orientations
-
varied sexual preferences including kink and BDSM

In my practice I combine evidence-based therapies of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Self-Compassion. In my work I put emphasis on these areas because I’ve seen with my clients that when we focus on positive habits and acceptance it has a more significant impact than focusing on negative patterns, mindsets and behaviours alone.
